PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING OUR FUN SHOW SERIES! 

Last month the Shelby County Equestrian Club celebrated our very first Fun Show!

It was a huge success!

The Fun Show Series is a series of 5 Tournament style shows with a wide variety of Academy Classes that include a few Open classes too. The Series is designed to offer entry level riders a continuous, year round competition venue to facilitate their growth as riders.   

Currently in KY there are 3 Tournament Associations, however, all three are closed to members only, leaving dozens of riding lesson students without a Tournament to attend. From this need, the Fun Show Series was born. The series is hosted by the Shelby Co Equestrian Club, and managed by the Club's Director and founder, Jessie Richardson.

"Myself and my staff at Evermore recognized the need for a first class Tournament Series local to Shelby Co. We wanted to give entry level riders a series of shows that extended year round in an effort to promote continuous riding, competition participation and growth with in the Saddleseat industry. We wanted their experience to be first class complete with substantial ribbons & trophies, as well as year end high point awards. From this need the Fun Series was born, and it only seemed to be fitting to have our newly formed club to be it's host"  

The schedule is extremely beginner centric, offering classes for riders competing in their first ever competition. Last month the beginner class was split 3 ways! Of the 30 riders attending the show 15 of them were competing for the very first time in their life! What a bright future ahead!  

It was the first of 5 shows planned for the 2019/2020 season. Each show is hosted by the Shelby County Equestrian Club at the Shelby County Fair Grounds. The shows begins at 11 am and ends at 5pm sharp. High Point awards for riders and barns wrap up a day of friendly competition. We are beyond lucky enough to have Caitlin Reason on hand as show photographer as well as Four Moore's Catering keeping us feed throughout the day.

The show was a huge success and we are anticipating double the entries for our second show, in just few short weeks.  

Each show costs upwards of $3,600 to host. A full day of entries does not come close to covering the shows costs.  

We need your generous support to continue to offer a fabulous show, with a fabulous schedule for beginner riders all complete with fabulous ribbon &  trophies.
